Divers
are used extensively in the construction and maintenance of
wharf and slipways. We carry out regular inspections and reports
on many wharf structures around Newcastle Harbour, Lake Macquarie
and Port Stephens.
Hunter Allied Diving Service was a team member in the rehabilitation
of the historical Coffs Harbour Jetty. Divers were engaged
to carry out the removal of debris from the sea bed and cut
off and remove approximately 2000 piles and stubs. We supplied
all floating plant, pumping equipment and hydraulic chainsaws.
